Between 14-18 May 2019 in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic at SRI of Heart Surgery and Organs Transplantation of Ministry of Health of Kyrgyz Republic master- classes on transcatheter aortic valve replacement, combined valvular heart diseases surgery and coronary bypass surgery, congenital heart diseases surgery: mini-invasive surgery of complex congenital heart diseases and thoracoscopic correction of congenital heart diseases, combined surgery of aortic root and coronary artery diseases, on interventional arrhythmology and cardiology, interventional closure of congenital heart diseases, on intraoperative transesophageal echocardiography took place. 

Section and plenary sessions of International jubilee scientific-practice conference devoted to 110 years of academician IK Akhunbaev, 60 years of the first heart surgery and 15 years of SRIHS&OT ``Innovations in cardiac surgery from finger commissurotomy to implantation high-technology devices`` were held on May 17 in hotel Orion Bishkek and on 18^th May hotel Ak-Maral, Baet village, Issyk-Kul oblast.

More than 250 participants took part in work of conference: leading cardiovascular surgeons, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, internal medicine specialists, representatives of scientific institutions from Russian Federation, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Israel, Turkey, China, Monaco, France and Germany.

Modern aspects of cardiovascular diseases, actual issues of diagnosis and treatment of congential heart diseases and history of cardiovascular surgery in Kyrgyz Republic were discussed during plenary sessions. Also, 4 section sessions were organized in frame of conference: School of cardiologist, School of pediatric cardiologist,  Interventional Cardiology and Section of Young  Investigators, where aspects of valvular and congenital heart surgery, roentgenoendovascular interventions and other were discussed.

Wide spectrum of medical equipment was represented and presentations of pharmacological companies  took place during exhibition.

Memorandum on cooperation between SRI of Heart Surgery and Organs Transplantation and clinic of Carl von Ossietzky (Oldenburg, Germany) was signed at the end of conference.

Conference ended up by cycling tour on May 19, with participation of 56 participants of conference from different countries.

The scientific-practice conference was organized by Scientific Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organs Transplantation, International Medical School, Eurasian association of cardiothoracic surgeons, Eurasian association of cardiac surgeons, angiosurgeons and anesthesiologists.
