About Doctor's Day

This is dedicated for Celebration of Mexican doctor`s day and all doctors.

The "animus" of Medicine has been solidly based on its basic principles: the principle of beneficence not maleficence, which refers to the Hippocratic "dictum" "primum non nocere" (the first thing is not to harm), the principle of autonomy, that claims the value of respect for human dignity, and the principle of justice, which together, ensure the commitment of the Physician with the Patient, with his profession, with the common good and with himself.

This has been the path of my professional present, as well as that of all my colleagues.

We have had the opportunity to learn about history, experience the creation of elements to save, prolong and improve life, as well as unprecedented knowledge about nature and the Universe.

Without a doubt, Medicine is the cornerstone of the historical vital change that we are experiencing.

We continue on the path to the Future, not only knowing the function of DNA, the physics and chemistry of life processes, the expression of more than 100 billion neuronal connections... But, uniting more and more health professionals, in science, technology and humanism.

Always proud of my profession that I love with all my heart and the great opportunity I have had to help my patients and the greatness that God gave me through my parents by educating me and strengthening me in some efforts, my entire family, my teachers, my friends, but above all to the patients and their families who have placed their trust in me.
